Thing#6 Flickr is Fun!!

II love all the toys, tools and apps. Wish I could get my Twiki app to post (www.twiki.org). Found 2 that are way cool slideshows and forgot to write down where to find them and now they are lost. Going to change out the personal photos and put in vacation pix instead of the grandkids. Everytime you pick a terrific you have to agree to opening up the flickr data. Not sure I'm comfortable with that yet.

Thing #4 Revisited: Blogs.......

I had blogs all over the place. Finally compiled them all into one blog and many postings. Now can I say finally?!

Thing #5: Flickr is Fine!!!!

I love Flickr but thought I'd uploaded more pictures than are showing. The grandkids are cute but where is Monument Valley? Where is Sedona? Did I disappear? Was I never there?

Thing #4: Blogging - love to hate it..

OK, so blogging isn't my favorite thing to do. Did a couple of blogs on my blogspot site (LibraryBookends). I think I like blogging when its in a professional capacity. Haven't felt the need to bare my soul. Will see how this plays out. Not sure how to post in the right place...guess reading directions would be a plan. Am still curious about the other 25 things ;) Marsha

Thing#3: Talk about a struggle

Spent 2 days trying to access everyone's blogs.. looked and looked..went to settings..went to the Inbox...went in and out of Carol's page...nothing. Then a 'dah' moment came over me and there it was/is///////I hope.

NO-thing: What to do when you find a good book...

Maybe the title should be how to find a good book when you find your taste in recreational novels changing. I still like and devour mind candy books, like James Peterson and Janet Evonivich, but my goal is to find another series that hooked me as fast as the Harry Potter series.

I didn't even start them until the books, all of them, had been published. Then an entire summer was devoted to Harry and the movies.

NO-thing: eBooks

The secondary media centers are already using ipods, mp3 players and ebooks to encourage kids to read. Do elementary school libraries want to use these technologies or is using computer generated eFlix a better way to go?
